"The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the one...except when they don't". For my money, the best thing Trek ever did for ethics was when Shatner delivered his get a life speech on Saturday Night Live. I may have to read this to see if they have a clue.

MarsBoot. At the Martian North Pole, across a few thousand miles of
frozen dusty wasteland and a few canyons big enough to swallow the Grand
Canyon is the abandoned return ship of the first Mars expedition. Recommended.
