Sahara by Breck Eisner (Paramount Pictures / ) - Based on the novel by Clive Cussler, Sahara follows the adventures of Dirk Pitt in the titular desert, searching for a lost Civil War-era warship and its mysterious cargo. Directed by Breck Eisner, also starring Steve Zahn and Penelope Cruz. Released April 8, 2005.

The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy by Garth Jennings (dir) ( / ) - Based on the best selling quintology by Douglas Adams, Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy follows Arthur Dent's (Martin Freeman) journey from his English home through the destruction of Earth-- and that's just the beginning. Keeping company with galactic traveler Ford Prefect (Mos Def), Dent hitchhikes his way through space, encountering interstellar politico Zaphod Beeblebrox (Sam Rockwell) and the only other surviving human, Trillian (Zooey Deschanel). Can they survive? Can they endure the relentless pessimism of Marvin the android (voiced by Alan Rickman)? More importantly, can Arthur find a really good cup of tea now that Earth's been demolished for a space going highway? Coming from Touchstone Pictures on April 29.
