Harrison Ford locked for 'Ender's Game' by ( 23 December 2011 / ) - From Variety Article: Breslin After confronting extraterrestrials in "Cowboys and Aliens," Harrison Ford is ready to take on another alien race in OddLot Entertainment's sci-fi tentpole "Ender's Game" along with Abigail Breslin and Hailee Steinfeld.

Joseph Henry by ( 15 December 2011 / ) - From Google: Joe Simon, who along with Jack Kirby co-created Captain America and was one of the comic book industry's most revered writers, artists and editors, has died at age 98.

Simon's family relayed word of his death Thursday, posting a short statement on Facebook and telling The Associated Press through a spokesman that Simon died Wednesday night in New York City after a brief illness. (Source: )

Missing Dr. Who Episodes Recovered. by ( 11 December 2011 / ) - From article: Two classic episodes of Doctor Who - thought to be missing forever - have been returned to the BBC archive.

Episode 3 of the William Hartnell adventure "Galaxy 4" and Episode 2 of Patrick Troughton's "The Underwater Menace" were purchased by film collector Terry Burnett at a village fete near Southampton in the early 80s. He had been unaware that the canisters contained material missing from the BBC.

Darrell K. Sweet (August 15, 1934 December 5, 2011)[ by ( 09 December 2011 / ) - Darrel K. Sweet is a person many people may not realize that they know. His art has graced the covers of many of SF and Fantasy's magazines and books. He not only was known for his art with science fiction and fantasy elements but also for his Western artwork.
