Dungeon Monstres 1: The Crying Giant by Lewis Trondheim (Nantier Beall Minoustchine Publishing April 2008 / $12.95) - From back of book: Welcome to the branch of the Dungeon focusing on the great adventures of secondary characters presented by leading guest artists. In this volume, Jean-Christophe Menu, well-known as the head of the highly influential publishing co. L'Association, presents Alcibiacies the wizard in The Crying Giant where his all-seeing giant's eye cannot stop crying, flooding the entire dungeon. Dororo Volume 1 (Dororo) by Osamu Tezuka (Vertical 29 April 2008 / $13.95) - Book Description: Dororo is Tezuka's classic thriller manga featuring a youth who has been robbed of 48 body parts by devils, and his epic struggle against a host of demons to get them back.

Tezuka's manga and animated films had a tremendous impact on the shaping of the psychology of Japan's postwar youth. His work changed the concept of Japanese comics, transforming it into an art form and incorporating a variety of new styles in creating "story comics." (Source: Vertical)
