2017 Hugo Award Nominees Announced by (Worldcon 75 06 April 2017 / ) - Worldcon 75 is pleased to announce the finalists for the 2017 Hugo Awards and John W. Campbell Award for Best New Writer.

2464 valid nominating ballots (2458 electronic and 6 paper) were received and counted from the members of the 2016, 2017 and 2018 World Science Fiction Conventions.

The finalists are:

Best Novel
2078 ballots cast for 652 nominees.
Votes for finalists ranged from 156 to 480.
