Liz is an avid reader and devours books at an alarming rate. She is also an aspiring writer and enjoys writing in the urban fantasy genre for both adults and young adults. She is however yet to offer JK Rowling a run for her money but hopes that the publishing gods will be kind to her one day. She lives in Kent in the UK with her husband Mark (zombie addict with a zombie apocalypse plan) and their Jack Russell, Sparrow, whom they are training to attack zombies on command. Working in London, one of the world’s most vibrant cities, is a constant inspiration, as is being able to stalk meet various authors at signings.

Favourite authors include Neil Gaiman, Charles de Lint, Phil Rickman, David Gibbins, Tom Lloyd, and Joe Abercrombie, to name but a few. Liz is doing her best to work through a selection of graphic novels suggested by Mike Carey, her personal hero and one of the best urban fantasists working today. Reading is a passion rather than a hobby and forms part of Liz's excuse for the hundreds of books which threaten to crowd them out of their tiny house. Her excuse is that it is all research and may one day be tax deductable. Her husband and friends do not believe her and she suspects that the taxman won't either.

She runs www.myfavouritebooks.blogspot.com which has reviews, interviews and general news about writers, publishing and some movie news thrown in for good measure.
