In "My Superpower" by Leslie A. Dow, a woman claims that she has a superpower to find things that are missing, like her husband's "garpledeybip" or her son's car. Word gets around and three well-dressed men come to her with a special request in this amusing tale Gabe is a homeless war veteran in Philadelphia who notices something unusual in a drobot in "A Delivery of Cheesesteaks" by Alan Grayce (actually, A.L. Sirois and Grace Marcus). If this thing is supposed to be delivering cheesesteaks why is there no smell? And why at 7AM? Gabe takes action in this nice little story "Irma Splinkbottom's Recipe for Cold Fusion" in the story by Janene Murphy calls for water, baking powder, and salt with the mixture to be micro-waved. She tries several different combinations of ingredients and zapping time until she finds the right recipe in another hilarious tale. All this is rounded out with a nonfiction article, "George Washington's Life in Baseball: Using Characters Your Reader Already Knows" with an accompanying fun story, "President of Baseball Operations". Flash Fiction Online will probably have new stories posted by the time you read this, but the November issue will still be available.
