If you're a loyal Doctor Who fan and your home computer is a Mac or PC, you'll be delighted to hear that the BBC will be offering four free games featuring Matt Smith, the newest Doctor and his newest companion Amy, played by Karen Gillian. The one proviso is that you'll have to wait until June 2010 to be able to download and play them.

The BBC is giving "Doctor Who" fans the chance to download four free "interactive episodes" in which they can control the actions of the Doctor and his assistant Amy.

The four games that make up "Doctor Who: The Adventure Games" feature digital recreations of Matt Smith and Karen Gillian who play the Doctor and his sidekick in the TV series.

The games also include voice-overs by the cast, along with music created by the show's composer Murray Gold.

According to the BBC the 'interactive episodes' have been designed to complement the current series of the TV show and players will encounter a combination of classic and never-seen-before locations and monsters.
