The Bedtime Story Book: Classic Tales From Childhood adapted by Jen Wainwright and illustrated by Angel Dominguez is a hardcover with a decorated border to match the other books in the series.

Each story is about 6-7 pages, with clear black and white illustrations that highlighting moments, items, or characters in the story. Each story is just the right for bedtime reading by a parent to a sleepy child.

That these stories are classics, and most likely fondly remembered by adults, means that with this lovely volume you have a chance to share some of your favorite bedtime stories with your child, grandchild, or nephew or niece. Stories included are: Goldilocks and the Three Bears; The Ape and the Crab; The Emperor's New Clothes, The Ugly Duckling, The Musicians of Bremen; The Boy Who Cried Wolf, Puss in Boots, The Grasshopper and the Ant; The Golden Goose; The Three Little Pigs; Crow Brings Daylight; City Mouse and Country Mouse; Chicken Little; Anansi and the Sky God; Little Red Riding Hood; The Three Billy Goats Gruff; Cap o' Rushes; The Goose Girl; The Dung Beetle; Stone Soup; and The Tortoise and the Hare.

While not as colorful as the Little Golden Books with their full-color illustrations, this volume is one that will entertain for years to come as the stories are told again and again to a new generations of children, or it will give adults fond memories of the time when these stories were first encountered.
