Both are witty and appropriately backing their own camp, in a way that keeps everything lighthearted and fun. Forbeck acknowledges that the intensity of fandom can often get heated, but the tone of the book remains enjoyable throughout.

Fans of either Star Trek or Star Wars will want this book, if only for the entertainment value of seeing Vader's Executor demolish the Enterprise-E.
