Fantastic Stories of the Imagination is back with issue #228 with stories by Amy Griswold, Sarah Grey, Sarah Totton, Bruce Coville, and Alex Shcartsman, along with many other features.

Fantastic Stories of the Imagination #228 with 2 new stories and three reprinted ones. It is available online and in an epub edition.

The first new story is "Little Fox" by Amy Griswold. -+- Bella is supposed to go away to college today, but she finds out that her clone, Fox, has drugged her and taken her place. She doesn't do anything at first and pretends she is the clone. When she tells her mother what has happened, she finds something else out about her family. Good story.

The second new story is "This Side of Time" by Sarah Grey. -+- Emily is a fifteen-year-old girl using the computer to examine prospective husbands. The "you" that is the viewpoint character for most of the story is one of them, a fairly well-drawn person. Interesting idea, well executed.

There are also three reprinted stories "The Stone Man" by Sarah Totton, "Herbert Hutchinson in the Underworld" by Bruce Coville, and "Icarus Falls" by Alex Shvartsman. I do not review reprinted stories but I hope you enjoy them.

The stories in Fantastic Stories of the Imagination are always available, you can check them out at the website (see link at the top of this review).
