Flash Fiction Online for July 2015 has stories by C.L. Holland, Brent Baldwin, Samantha Murray, and Caroline M. Yoachim.

Flash Fiction Online is a website with very short stories, updated every month. These are reviews for their July 2015 issue.

The first story is "Your Past Life Interferes With My Very Important Studies" by C.L. Holland. -+- An epistolary tale consisting of notes sent from Kay to Michael describing her experiences with his Past Life, who seems to be a separate entity. One thing leads to another in this amusing, imaginative tale.

The second story is "The Disposition Matrix" by Brent Baldwin. -+- Evgeny has the job of directing drone strikes against terrorists. Yana is a dog who is there to see he does his job. Things do not work out as planned. Well done!

The third story is "Portrait of My Wife as a Boat" by Samantha Murray. -+- Our narrator's wife becomes a boat. Distinctly strange.

The fourth story, is a reprint, "Pieces of My Body by Caroline M. Yoachim. Since it is a recent one, I will review it. Our narrator talks about her "disembodiment party" and details what parts of her body she gave to various friends and what they did with them. Wonderfully bizarre and witty.

By the time you read this, the August issue might be up, but the July Flash Fiction Online should still be available. Look for it as a back issue or read any older issue. Check them out and make a donation at their website (see link at the top of this review).
