Here's the 38th issue ofNightmare Magazine with stories by Silvia Moreno-Garcia, F. Paul Wilson, Matthew Kressel, and Gemma Files, along with Author Spotlights on all of them, an Artist's Spotlight on Cover Artist Bruno Wagner, and the latest installment of a regular monthly feature the H Word, "In My Restless Dreams--A Study of Horror in Video Games" by Justin Bailey.

Here's the 38th issue ofNightmare Magazine, with two original stories. You can find the issue and how to pay (or not) for it at its website. Here are my reviews of the two new stories in this issue.

The first original story is "Lacrimosa" by Silvia Moreno-Garcia. -+- Ramon abandoned his family in Mexico for life in Canada. He is haunted by an old homeless woman who asks, "Where are my children?" OK.

The second original story is "Demon in Aisle 6" by Matthew Kressel. -+- Lucas sees a demon in Aisle 6 of the Supermart in which he works. What is it? We also hear the story of his lover, Davis, and what happened to him. Naturally, the two stories come together. Pretty good.

That's the 38th issue of Nightmare Magazine. You can access the stories for free. Check out their website and support them, if you want to, in some way.
