Flash Fiction Online for February 2016 has stories by Shawn Proctor, Paul Crenshaw, Rachael K. Jones, Lydia Ondrsek, and Raven Jakubowski.

Flash Fiction Online is a website with very short stories, updated every month. These are reviews for the new stories in their February 2016 issue.

The first story is "The Magician's Assistant" by Paul Crenshaw. -+- The magician's beautiful assistant disappears. He finds her nowhere inside, so he steps out on the front stoop. In his cape, he draws a crowd, so he begins taking bits of memories of her from his sleeves. What has happened? Perfectly done!

The second story is "Love Letters on the Nightmare Sea" by Rachael K. Jones. -+- Our narrator misses, Suneeti, the woman she loves, who has been stung by a jellyfish and fallen asleep. She wants to find a way to bring her back. Okay.

The third story is "Shelter" by Lydia Ondruse. -+- A great pianist dies and a woman feels she has suddenly acquired his hands. What next? Beautiful little tale.

The fourth story is "Sister Margo's Heart" by Raven Jakubowski. -+- Margo is a member of a sisterhood that exchanges mechanical bodies for the real ones of its novices. She wants something more out of her life. Okay.

By the time you read this, the March issue might be up, but the February Flash Fiction Online should still be available. Look for it as a back issue or read any older issue. Check them out and make a donation at their website (see link at the top of this review).
