Here's the 46th issue of Nightmare Magazine with stories by Gavin Pate, Nick Mamatas, An Owomoyela and Rachel Swirsky, and Seanan McGuire, along with Author Spotlights on all of them, and the latest installment of a regular monthly feature, The H Word: On Writing Horror by Tananarive Due. Also a Panel Discussion: Demonic Possession by The Geeks Guide to the Galaxy.

Here's the 46th issue of Nightmare Magazine with two original stories. You can find the issue and how to pay (or not) for it at their website (see link at the top of this review). Here are my reviews of the two new stories in this issue.

The first original story is "Red House" by Gavin Pate. -+- A little girl is found all muddy. Her father married her mother and fled with her. Written in a style that prevented me from ever getting into it.

The second original story is "Whose Drowned Face Sleeps" by An Owomoyela and Rachel Swirsky. -+- A woman who calls herself "R" is the rebirth of another woman who called herself "R". We get their stories and relationships which eventually come together. Could not really get interested in this one.

That's the 46th issue of Nightmare Magazine. You can access the stories for free. Check out their website and support them, if you want to, in some way.
