Flash Fiction Online for July 2016 has stories by Star Spider, Chloe N. Clark, Lora Gray, and a reprint story by Caroline M. Yoachim.

Flash Fiction Online is a website with very short stories, updated every month. These are reviews for the new stories in their July 2016 issue.

The first new story is "Green on the Inside" by Star Spider. -+- Mirabelle is digging a hole in her garden when she gets a phone call. It's from a young guy looking for her daughter, also named Mirabelle. Won't say more, except that this was an exquisitely written, poignant little tale.

The second new story is "So This" by Chloe N. Clark. -+- A couple has lost their baby daughter and adopt a dog they call Catnip. The unnamed wife bonds with Catnip in a very beautiful way.

The third new story is "Nuclear Daughter" by Lora Gray. -+- A nuclear bomb causes a woman to grow things inside her that she gives names to. Good story.

By the time you read this, next month's issue might be up, but this month's Flash Fiction Online should still be available. Look for it as a back issue or read any older issue. Check them out and make a donation at their website (see link at the top of this review).
