Issue 16 of The Dark has stories by Pear Nuallak, Stephen Graham Jones, Cassandra Khaw, and V.H. Leslie.

Here is The Dark #16 with two new stories.

The first new story is "With Her Diamond Teeth" by Pear Nuallak. -+- Taphaokaew's sister Taphaothong is taken by a crocodile. Kraithong rescues her, winning the hand of both in marriage. When Taphaothong tells her sister of her time with the crocodile and his wives, Taphaokaew begins to seek something else in her life. A rich, imaginative fantasy.

The other new story is "Some Breakable Things" by Cassandra Khaw. -+- Our narrator's estranged father dies and haunts her, causing more and more problems. Her mother hires an exorcist but she doesn't uses him. She tries one last thing. Does it work? Very unsettling.

The Dark has its own brand of unique horror and is certainly worth reading. It deserves your support. Check out their website (see link at the top of this review). If you want to give them more support, go to their Patreon site at www.patreon.com/thedarkmagazine.
