The month of October has been very stressful with work and with personal issues. The upshot is today (4 November 2016) we're taking our dearly beloved cat to the vet. He's in pain and must be let allowed to find peace (I know it's a euphemism but it's hard for me to deal with right now).
So, the upshot is that we've gone live with the contents from my reviewers and I'll be adding my own reviews as soon as I can think sufficiently clearly to write a coherently and objectively about books.
Our reviewers, on the other hand, have done an amazing job this month and hopefully you'll agree. Maybe you'll even find a review that tempts you to try something new.
Sam Tomaino's magazine column has reviews of a fairly large cross section of what is available. Each review includes a link to the magazine and a full table of contents as well as Sam's review of each story in the magazine.
This month we have two reviews of US Books column. This section of SFRevu lists the books that have arrived to our office that are being published in November. The books are listed alphabetically by publisher and then within Publisher by Title. The bibliographic information for each book is listed as well as the blurb from the back of the book. If none of our reviews tempt you, you might find something here that will. You can look through other months by using the Next Month and Last Month links.
Now for our usual announcements:

Publishers Take Note:
We're often asked and yes, we do take small press books. Not all books we receive get reviewed but all are listed in our US Books column or UK Books column.
