Here is The Dark #18 with two new stories.
The first new story is "The House That Jessica Built" by Nadia Bulkin. -+- Jessica Rue has lost her mother and her father, brother, and her have moved into a new house and she has begun seeing a ghost. She is being treated by a psychiatrist but her father and her brother are affected, too. Her father is in a horrible accident and she and her brother move in with relatives. But Rue finds out who the ghost is and tries to find a way to deal with her. Really well done look at Rue's character.
The other new story is "And In Our Daughters, We Find a Voice" by Cassandra Khaw. -+- This is a variant of "The Little Mermaid". I won't tell you how it works out, but after all, this is a horror magazine. Another great little story.
The Dark has its own brand of unique horror and is certainly worth reading. It deserves your support. Check out their website (see link at the top of this review). If you want to give them more support, go to their Patreon site at www.patreon.com/thedarkmagazine.
