Flash Fiction Online for July 2017 has arrived with new stories by Shara Concepción, Meera Jhala, and Aimee Picchi, and a reprint story by Rachael K. Jones.

Flash Fiction Online is a website with very short stories, updated every month. These are reviews for the new stories in their July 2017 issue.

The first new story is "Brujitas" by Shara Concepción. -+- Our narrators encounter a witch and show her some magic of their own. Very literary!

The second new story is "Elsewhere" by Meera Jhala. -+- The air of Delhi became unbreathable when she was a teenager. The woman called Mrs. Bhatia managed to send her son, Vivek, to safety. What can she do for herself? Poignant.

The third new story is "Errata to the Fugue of the Undreamable Abyss" by Aimee Picchi. -+- In a series of notes, our narrator tells us about the end-of-life for her lover, the composer of the eponymous musical composition. Beautiful.

By the time you read this, next month's issue might be up, but this month's Flash Fiction Online should still be available. Look for it as a back issue or read any older issue. Check them out and make a donation, if you wish, at their website (see link at the top of this review).
