Here's the 59th issue of Nightmare Magazine with stories by James Rabb, V.H. Leslie, Nick Mamatas, and Nalo Hopkinsin, the latest installment of a regular monthly feature, The H Word: I Need My Pain by Gemma Files, and an interview with Terence Taylor by The Geek's Guide to the Galaxy.

Here's the 59th issue of Nightmare Magazine with two original stories. You can find the issue and how to pay (or not) for it at their website (link at the top of this review). Here are my reviews of the two new stories in this issue.

The first original story is "The Devil of Rue Moret" by James Rabb. -+- A boy growing up in the bayou town of Rue Moret walks home late from school one day and has a singular experience. Eerie and atmospheric.

The second original story is "The Spook School" by Nick Mamatas. -+- Melissa Poulos has come to Scotland with her boyfriend Gordon MacDonald and met his parents. At a museum, she saw the sacred rose in Charles Rennie Mackintosh's famed gesso panel The Wassail, she had fainted, but she recovered. Her second visit to the museum went a little differently. Nicely bizarre.

That's the current issue of Nightmare Magazine. You can access the stories for free. Check out their website and support them, if you want to, in some way.
