Here's the 61st issue of Nightmare Magazine with stories by Cassandra Khaw, Brian Evanson, Joanna Parypinski, and Robert Shearman, the latest installment of a regular monthly feature The H Word: What Comes at the End by Kristi DeMeester, and an Interview with Josh Malerman by Lisa Morton.

Here's the 61st issue of Nightmare Magazine with two original stories. You can find the issue and how to pay (or not) for it at their website (link at the top of this review). Here are my reviews of the two new stories in this issue.

The first original story is "Don't Turn on the Lights" by Cassandra Khaw. -+- Some variants on the old urban legend in which a girl enters her dorm room late at night and does not turn on the lights and leaves. Amusing.

The second original story is "We Are Turning on a Spindle" by Joanna Parypinski. -+- On another world, under a dying sun, a man enters a bramble-covered castle and searches for the Beauty of the Night. He finds her and awakens her with a kiss. Different ending in this one. Very Good.

That's the current issue of Nightmare Magazine. You can access the stories for free. Check out their website and support them, if you want to, in some way.
