Here's the 64th issue of Nightmare Magazine with stories by Lori Selke, Halli Villegas, Vincent Michael Zito, and Lynda E. Rucker, and other features.

Here's the 64th issue of Nightmare Magazine with two original stories. You can find the issue and how to pay (or not) for it at their website. Here are my reviews of the two new stories in this issue.

The first original story is "A Head in a Box, or, Implications of Consciousness after Decapitation" by Lori Selke. -+- When a beautiful blonde actress is decapitated in a freak accident, her head is preserved and kept in a box. She is fed nutrients and kept alive and talking. Her life enters a new phase. Wonderfully bizarre.

The second original story is "The Owner's Guide to Home Repair. Page 238: What to Do About Water Odor" by Vincent Michael Zito. -+- The story starts with "you" wondering what is causing the water from the tap to look clear but smell. The reader might notice something that is a clue to the cause. It becomes clear as the story progresses. Nicely done. Good buildup to the end.

That's the current issue of Nightmare Magazine. You can access the stories for free. Check out their website (see link at the top of this review) and support them, if you want to, in some way.
