It's been almost exactly five years since we first met and interviewed Cory Doctorow ( See 12/02 Interview) around the time of his first Novel, Down and Out in the Magic Kingdom. Since then his star has risen steadily both as an SF writer, but also as a defender of intellectual property freedoms and a commentator on the impact of technology on everyone. We thought the release of Overclocked: Stories of the Future Present was a good opportunity to catch up with Cory, and he was happy (we think) to take a break from his holiday digital exile to answer a few questions.
