With a less experimental feel than the first Dreamsongs volume, these are pieces written by a more mature, more experienced writer. There is more focus in many of these pieces, yet at the same time, there is less focus. These are not pure fantasy, or pure horror, or pure science fiction. They are just stories, about what happen to people in unusual situations.
