The Accidental Vampire (Argeneau Vampires, Book 7)
by Lynsay SandsReview by Gayle Surrette Avon Mass Market ISBN/ITEM#: 9780061229688 Date: 01 January 2008 List Price $6.99 Amazon US / Amazon UK / Show Article / With the flood of vampire books released each year, it's not surprising that so many sink into the waters. The Accidental Vampire, however, rises above the flood to entertain with humor, a mystery, and great characters. I'd never read Lynsay Sands before, though her work keeps popping up in those "you also might like" lists. Her vampires have some interesting twists to their nature and history. But the story is one of discovery and love -- true love, friendship, community, and trust. From official release/information: From publicity material: Victor Argeneau, an enforcer for the Council, thought he'd seen it all, but when he finds his latest quarry, life gets a whole lot more complicated. Elvi Black isn't sure what's going on, she knows she's a vampire, but she doesn't know how--or why seh's not feeling that "evil dead vibe". Her first encounter with Victor opens her eyes in more ways than one, but can an accidental vampire and a career-driven confirmed bachelor ever make it work? (Source: Avon)
