Rynemonn, the fourth and final book in Dowling's Tom Rynosseros series, is, like its predecessors, a collection of stories rather than a novel. However, these are associated stories, so if you like your fiction long and ponderable, they can satisfy your hunger. Like Dowling's horror collection, An Intimate Knowledge of the Night, Rynemonn contains connecting narratives between the individual stories, so that they are not merely related but connected, forming one flow of adventures.

From official release/information:

Blue Tyson, Tom O'Bedlam, Tom Rynosseros; the man from the Madhouse who won Blue and a fine sandship from the tribes. The Coloured Captain who roams the interior, searching out a hidden purpose, the secret knowledge which affects not only Nation but the Dreamtime itself. In eleven linked stories Tom will uncover his origins, discover what truly happened in the Madhouse and learn the meaning of the three signs that have haunted his life. In Rynemonn the Blue Captain will come home.
