Simply put, you can see the unabashed love for all things Star Wars that permeates the crew of Family Guy, from creator Seth MacFarlane, all the way through director, producers, writers, editors, and artists. I think for many of these fanboys and fangirls, meeting and speaking with Star Wars creator George Lucas was the high point of their lives.

Disc 1:
Show (48 minutes): True to the irrepressible, irreverent, and sometimes potty-mouthed traditions of Family Guy, Family Guy Presents Blue Harvest pokes fun at Bush and Cheney with a strategically placed bumper sticker. Microsoft Windows takes a good body shot, Deal or No Deal gets spoofed, and hyperspace looks amazingly like the Doctor Who opening credits during the Tom Baker era. And that's only the tip of the iceberg when it comes to humor. The jokes fly so fast and furious that repeat viewings are required.

Special Features:

    • Audio Commentary by Family Guy Creator Seth MacFarlane with Blue Harvest Director, Producers, Writers, and Editors.
    • A Conversation With Star Wars Creator George Lucas.
    • Once in a Lifetime: The Making of Blue Harvest Featurette.
    • Animatic Version of Blue Harvest.
    • Family Guy Star Wars Clip Show.
    • Uncensored Audio Track.
Disc 2:
Digital Copy of Family Guy Presents Blue Harvest for download to Mac or PC

I would recommend this DVD set to anyone who is a Family Guy fan and to Star Wars fans who don't mind the occasional romp in the muck like Han, Luke, and Leia on the Death Star.
