Daun the Incubus is the best at seducing evil mortals; he charms women into sleeping with him so he can steal their souls to bring to his master in Hell. He, like all of his peers remain stunned by the fact his Succubus Jezebel quit the job, leaving Hell, taking on a mortal form, turning monogamous but not with him. Instead she has fallen in love with a pathetic human Paul (see HELLS BELLES and THE ROAD TO HELL). Jezebel orders a shocked Daun to stay away from her; hell - that's worse to him than inane abstinence or even coitus interruptus. Daun obsesses with lust for his former Succubus.

The King of Lust offers Daun a mission he cannot refuse because he will have achieved his lifetime goal. If he brings the soul of Virginia Reed to Hell, Daun will become The First Principal of Lust, second in line to the King himself. The Incubus assumes it is an easy job for an expert like him to seduce the human, but he is appalled when he first sees her; she looks like a mortal Jezebel whom he has been stalking in various disguises to his shame of late. Adding to his difficulty is that he realizes Virginia is heaven bound as a kind hearted innocent; Daun's women are malevolent. He struggles with taking her soul to Hell especially since Virginia has become his desire. Making his chore more complicated are demons trying to kill him, and Virginia rejecting his kisses as she has had enough pain from men who leave even if he truthfully tells her come hell or high water he does not want to leave.

Once again using irony with what happens to her lead character Jackie Kessler provides her audience with an amusing erotic romantic fantasy. The third tale of Hell's erotic legion is fun from the onset although the plot is a bit thin and similar to the previous trips.

The stalking Daun cannot accept that his Succubus dumped him for a mortal. Daun makes the tale as he has no qualms about his vocation because his targets deserve Hell. However, his newest assignment, which will enable him to achieve his life goal (he knows better than to think of the next job up), mortifies him from the onset. The victim is not just beautiful, she is a pure human Jezebel. Thus his strategy of eroding her resistance as he has plenty of time is only eroding his resistance.

Virginia is hotly named as she rejects men as hurtful deceivers although she fantasizes that Daun will kiss her and stay with her. She wants him to take her, but the thought of the hurt when he leaves, as all men leave, surpasses her need for him to take her. Her reactions to the demons trying to kill him in front of her are priceless. Fans will relish Daun's dilemma (think of Harry Reems from his Deep Throat role playing the part) as he finds himself still following the footsteps of his former Succubus; only figuratively as he must decide whether to mortally love on earth or princely rule in Hell.
