All in all, this 2 DVD set is a good sampler of the broad range of The X-Files and is a well-timed teaser leading into the upcoming movie. In fact, if you buy The X-Files Revelations, you have 16 days to watch them before the movie. I'd call this a must buy for X-Philes as well as people curious about the series, especially before they see the movie.

The series trailer on Disc 1 was excellent and a reminder of how good The X-Files were when show creator Chris Carter and his team were at the top of their game.

Given how I am one of the many people who wish Chris Carter had never made Seasons 8 and 9, I was lukewarm on the idea of seeing The X-Files: I Want To Believe, due out July 25, 2008. I'll freely admit that the WonderCon 2008 Trailer for the upcoming movie has made me reconsider my opinion and now I can't wait for July 25th.

While I didn't remember that Season 4's Memento Mori was an Emmy Nominee for Writing, viewing it again after all these year was great and I'm wondering what show beat them for the award.

It was wonderful seeing a playful Gillian Anderson doing her best to distract Chris Carter during his little talk on Milagro. The WonderCon 2008 Talent Panel with Frank Spotnitz, Chris Carter, Gillian Anderson, and David Duchovny discussing The X-Files: I Want To Believe was entertaining and David was being David as usual, namely his off beat sense of humor was 'running' loose on stage like a little leprechaun.
