Movie:
The story begins with a child's laughter and according to the narrator, songstress Loreena McKennitt, a new fairy is born. In this case, that fairy is the petite Bell and in a ceremony that reminded me of the Sorting Hat at the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry from the Harry Potter books, Bell discovers her true calling in life.

Although Bell displays a powerful talent as a Tinker, she believes that there are more important fairy jobs than being a Tinker. Now known as Tinker Bell or Tink, she wants much more from life.

Aided, often reluctantly by her loyal friends Rosetta, Silvermist, Fawn, and Iridessa, Tink discovers that the answers she seeks can be found within her.

My Opinion:
With the short days, cool temperatures, gray skies, and a mixture of rain and snow falling, I was looking forward to brightening my day with "Tinker Bell". I found it exceeded my expectations and gave me great pleasure with each viewing and I kept on discovering new things every time. This is a wonderful movie for children of all ages and makes for great family viewing.
