Star Wars: The Clone Wars (Widescreen Edition)
by Dave Filoni (Director )Review by Charles Mohapel Warner Home Video DVD ISBN/ITEM#: B001GQSY5K Date: 11 November 2008 List Price $28.98 Amazon US / Amazon UK / Show Article / Set in the period between Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones and Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith, Star Wars: The Clone Wars follows Anakin Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Master Yoda, Mace Windu, and the rest of the Jedi as they find themselves having to adjust to their new role as generals for the Clone Army. Anakin Skywalker who has always been headstrong now has to make adjustments since he has been assigned 14-year-old Ahsoka Tano as his first Padawan learner. Almost immediately she begins to call him "Skyguy" and he responds by calling her "Snips" since she is a little bit snippy toward him. While we don't know for certain why Ahsoka was assigned to Anakin, it is quite probably because the Jedi Council concluded that she would test the patience of more conventional Jedi masters. They also probably hoped that this Padawan might temper his impetuousness and by extension hers at the same time...
